That was a bad sign she said out loud to no one but herself and the crickets. She did remember the hose from the backseat she could use to siphon out some gas from the car. Apparently, his ingenious strategy involved a place known as The Hick Bars, whatever that means.

She'd never seen Earth. Although she dreams about it sometimes. Sadly, those dreams are far and few between! Lord Qhark had installed "Blackness of Night Envelope Filters" in every Robot Jew perception socket at birth. However,

The filters made her feel an uncontrollable urge to fight these strange feelings but instincts have a way of overwhelming the best of us and tend to win out in the end. So long as one person remembers then Lord Qhark's plan to erase earth from existence will ultimately fail.

something stronger, something deep within herself. Before she could even contemplate facing Lord Qhark, she had to cleanse her thoughts of fear and doubt. In essence, she had to be pure. She knew the forest would help rid herself of these demons but what sacrifices would she have to make? Would it also mean the loss of her precious memories of Earth? Only time would tell. She instantly knew that her dream was not destroyed; it was still inside her and with the hurt and pain gone, she could embrace it totally. "I am re-born," she exclaimed and she tearfully turned to exit the clearing near a large rock. As she approached the rock she saw there in the stone, a sword embedded with emeralds and

Vibrations could be heard eminating from the sword. Almost too feint to make out, it was as if it was calling to her. That is how she felt, she had a strange familiarity to the sword, it's as if she came into contact with it before...

She held out her arm and slowly cupped the golden handle with, an almost, vice grip. Pulling gently, the sword began to edge free from the rock surface. Suddenly the forest echoed with activity, it startled her, she stopped, then silence. She waited, then continued, pulling until the sword was free. As she held it up to the sky the light shone brighter than ever before and from it echoed a voice saying

She didn't know with her robot, chip mind but she could see in the reflection from the sword a small light inside her chest like the flame of a candle. It flickered and she felt like a wave emanated from that point out to the rest of her body, giving her strength and determination. "It is time," she said and walked past the rock into the forest which quickly grew less dense and a dirt path emerged where

"I must hide the sword" she thought as she rummaged through her belongings. "ah this will do" as she covered it with an old velvet cloth.
Heading towards the space port, she came across a tattered sign, it read 'Faliraki Military Space Port - trespassers will be liquidated. By order of Lord Qhark'. "Surely the port is not still in use?" she thought.
Heading ever closer it became clear that the port was indeed deserted. "Maybe i'll find something, some clue as to why it's left like this". A solitary door marked the entrance, she cautiously entered. It was dark, almost too dark to see and the stench, well she could bear it, just. Suddenly a noise echoed through the base, startled, she frantically reached for the sword. "Is someone there?" she called out. Suddenly, from behind an old computer terminal, a shadowy figure emerged. "Please do not hurt me! I have been here for ages on my own. Haven't seen another soul, i forget what it is like, please excuse my manners!". "who are you?!" she said.
